The Catholic church uses popular music. At Christmas, the choir will sing Mary Did You Know. Really? There is one line that is very contrary to Catholic doctrine: "the Child that you've delivered will soon deliver you."

LOL. Was thinking the same thing reading through the selected favorites — great tunes, but generally not authored by one-hit-wonders.
I had a couple of tunes in mind but the bands ultimately had multiple hits.
