Charting at #29 isn’t shabby. Not being anything approaching an expert, I just took the word of sources like VH1, Rolling Stone, etc.

Procol Harem had a hit with Conquistador, but that wasn’t until the 70s

Yes, Question Mark and Exclamation Point had different fathers.

I heard a radio interview years ago and the interviewer said something like, "My first question is, do I call you Mr. Mark or what?" Mr. Mark just laughed. I forget what the guy called him.

Really? I saw Flo and Eddie in concert many years ago and they played a dozen songs I never heard and closed with Happy Together. Then they did it again in the encore.

How about Carl Douglas with Kung Fu Fighting?

“Dominique by Soeur Sourire (Sister Smile).”

She had a sad life, ending in suicide. “Dominique” came out at the right time, it was after JFK was killed and I think the country needed a soothing break before the Beatles hit the US the following February. It was an crazy time to be a kid.

American Graffiti is my favorite movie - All time.

Funny, great sound track.
Wonderful “Look” about it.

And the subtle coming of age message is pretty cool.

Seems like a lot of people don’t understand what a one hit wonder is!

Very true. The hit doesn't have to be on the top of the chart.

The test is you name an artist and give their one hit wonder and someone says, "What other tunes did they do," the answer is "I can't tell you."
