Stupid question but what the hell, last night I asked if urine would really shield a license plate from spying cameras. :-)

Doesn’t plastic melt? Will a plastic will burn hot enough to cause this damage before reaching a melting point?

Local News (WSB) is saying it was PVC piping that was rolled up underneath that section. When it burns, it burns hot and releases toxic fumes. Will know more tomorrow morning I’m sure (I’m not a PVC expert, sure someone knows more than me).

The plastic gives lots of fuel....and some of those chemicals burn hit enough and long enough to create havoc
