Just wanted to add that about 18 years ago my wife had a similar diagnosis, maybe not the same but stage 4 as it had penetrated her bowel wall and gotten into lymph nodes.
She was aggressively treated, chemo (5-FU is the one I remember), radiation, surgery. It was a tough year but she’s still with us and in pretty decent health. Don’t give up hope. I’m sure many prayers have been lifted for you in addition to mine.
