From “The Outlaw Josey Wales” (after they kill some bounty hunters but don’t have time to bury them):
Kid: What about them fellas?
Josey: The hell with them fellas; buzzards gotta eat, same as worms...
“Well, ya gonna’ draw, or Whistle Dixie?”
“And what about that one?”
“I paid no mind to that one - I knew you had him covered.”
“And what do you do for a livin’?”
“We’re bounty hunters.”
“Dyin’ ain’t much of a livin’.”
I notice a distinct difference in the memorable quotes posted on FR than arrived at by Hollywood. I wonder why that is? (Hey, maybe I can get me some USA grant money!?)
“Report on the movie quote dichotomy showing social normative dischord between conservative/liberal normatives in millenial America.” (Heck - the title alone is worth $3 millon!”
“Endeavor to persevere!”
I just watched that last night and was getting ready to post when I saw yours.
“Dyin’ aint much of a livin’ boy.”
“Are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?”
Classic.
“I bet there’s 57 tits up there” Steve Martin
“Eddy?” Chevy Chase
“Holy Shit! Where’s the Tylenol?” Chevy Chase
It’s sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues.
