In the “rock” age, no one seriously does anything past a decade. They becime has-beens regrdless of consistent talent. In fact, I think the very essence of r&r - youth - requires that everything becomes passe quickly.

Obviously, you cannot be a fan of the Canadian band, RUSH, who recently celebrated 40 years of music making, and nearly 20 albums of original material, together.
And Glenn Hughes is still going strong after nearly 50 years. His his latest solo album was came out in fall 2016, and his band Black Country Communion will release their fourth studio album later this summer.
