Those dirty MFrs don’t realize small businesses rely on stable and consistent computer performance. I’m running win 7 on new machines because the support for my CAD CAM CAE CFD software is rock solid. Win 10 on one machine cost me nearly 9000 bucks. I fn hate MS even though I’m stuck with them.

Same where I work. Our CAD/CAE software is Windows only.

don’t know if it’ll work, but there’s a new wine 2.0 out- supposed to be better- I don’t know anything about it- so can’t recommend one way or other- supposed to have better support for graphics card utilization- It’s probably still crap though
