How does any conscious person, who is able to walk or crawl, with any function of hearing, sight or feel - get hit by a train???
Trains are big. They are loud. They shake the ground. One needs to move a mere 3 feet to either side to avoid them.
Two happened to come at the same time. She stepped out of the way of one, only to be hit by the other.
There's something very deceptive about trains - speed, spound, size- and by the time you realize you're in peril, you're done.
I have my Grandfather's log books- a lot of people died on those tracks.
