The world’s oldest sailing ship, the iron hulled Star of India, is in San Diego. It was built in 1863 and it could still sail around the world today.

I love the Star of India! Used to visit it often at it's home near the Broadway pier downtown San Diego, when I was a young second-class petty officer!

The USS Constitution, launched in 1797, is much older than the Star of India. And the USS Constellation, launched in 1854, sits in Baltimore Harbor. Both can still sail.
