I just went down with my broom and brushed my car off. There's at least a foot of snow out there, and it's coming down like crazy. I was going to brush it off later, but at least it's done, and it's less I'll have to do tomorrow. They haven't bothered with plowing the parking lot here today anyway, so even if I got my car out, there wouldn't be a clean spot to put it. They'll more than likely be around to plow throughout the day tomorrow.

Now after all this snow, once it gets warmer, it'll start falling off the building like an avalanche. Sometimes it's so bad it shakes the building when it tumbles down. I'm on the top floor, and can hear it sliding.

We're in the snow belt here...foothills of the Adirondacks!! Mohawk Valley!! The Mohawk River runs just on the other side of the complex I'm in. Fort Stanwix is about 5-8 minutes away. At least they don't have to clear the place for tourists because it's closed this time of year.

Even though the roads are bad, I'm betting there's still plenty of people at Turning Stone Casino (Oneida Indians), which is right at Exit 33 of the Thruway.
