It’s most assuredly NOT on my street either, but then, I lived on the top of a small mountain ( is that “microaggressive? ), so it’s always cooler here. This is a boon, in the dead heat of summer, but not right now. ;^)
We’re up to about three feet and it’s STILL coming down.
The forecast is now for snow to continue into tomorrow afternoon.
WSYR says all night. The forecast map shows another 2-4 inches overnight.
Should be interesting to see what’s closed tomorrow. The schools don’t have any more snow days. They’re going to want to get back and stop missing all that state aid they’re losing out on.
Out here in the Midwest, there have been years when school days have been added to the normal school year to make up for excess lost snow days, such as during holiday breaks, summer breaks, or even Saturdays.
You just microaggressed me by mentioning the weather on your street. If you want to talk weather, you must discuss the entire country and parts of Norway or begone with you!
Oh goodness gracious me and here I thought that we could ONLY discuss the weather in upstate N.Y.! Isn’t that what was inferred a while ago? LOL

That’s cool. Fortunately, I love snow so was quite happy these past two days!
Well I’m jealous because I loved snow when I lived back east. And there’s precious little snow in SoCal.
LOL! I love southern California - or at least I did. I spent two years there in the late 70s. Moonbeam was STILL in charge! As well as Mayor Yorty.
Imagine what you remember but severely overcrowded with a decaying housing stock filled by aliens from every part of the Third World. Sort of like The Shire overrun by Orcs.
