That is so cool, that you put together your own system, custom to you and your needs. Since we bought our first PC for $5,000 in 1982, we have loved the open architecture of the pc, never owned a Mac, don't have an iphone, never have, never will.

Since we do not build them anymore for sale, no money at all in them, my husband has built a few just for himself, it is nice that Newegg will sell onesies, cases, motherboards and graphics cards. We bought an HP desktop for my job as a Realtor, nothing but slow and stupid!!

Just a couple of months ago, a close friend called me and said he had a HP and for some reason would no longer boot to Windows.

I went to his home and was unsuccessful getting it to boot. Fortunately, I had a T15 screwdriver in my toolbox so I could open it up.

Geez, I was really surprised since he claimed it cost him $800 at Best Buy. There was virtually no cable management. It was a sloppy mess. I suppose most HP’s and most others are made on an assembly line with zero amount of pride put into it.
