If you are not familiar with a man named Stephen Coughlin, he has put together a number of video presentations that clearly lay out what Islam is.
His information that he cites is based on what Muslims publish about Islam that is intended for Muslim consumption, which are available in Muslim bookstores. Pursuant to this he upfront says that he doesn’t have to prove or disprove that what these Muslims teach is or is not the real Islam ... only that he can prove it is what Muslims, Islamists / Jihadist in particular, believe Islam is and the things he cites are what they consider authoritative.
I highly suggest you watch these, as they’ll cover many terms or alternate understandings of words that Islam employs. Likewise I would encourage you to share them freely with your friends, family and even co-workers (unless you work for or with PCdiots who will fire you for doing so).
Once folks become familiar with them they may have a better understanding of events such, for example, as happened after various officers got ahold of their newly appointed boss and had him drop the way he’d been accurately describing Jihad / Islamic terrorism.
It is tragic and a dire danger that there are many non-Muslims, if for reasons of being PC or what-have-you, that such do the Jihadis’ work by laboring to get others to be similarly reality impaired.

Every time some Imam utters a prayer like the one discussed in any place other than a mosque is like them planting a flag on our hill. And the point being made is this is not lost on other Muslims.
