Thanks for correction :) I lived in Midland for several years and coincidently when when at Midland AP waiting on a flight I was able to watch FI FI take off a few times. An awesome sight seeing those big radials belching exhaust smoke during the run-up. The whole airport would come to a stop to watch her take off. Just a side note, the Ghost Squadran puts on a pretty good air show every year. Fun to walk around and look at the old war birds. The last time I was in their museum there was a twin engine P-51 being restored (too lazy to search for actual nomenclature). Anyway, glad these old birds are being preserved.
