Colin Kaepernick hired new agents, which was reported this week. The agents told teams Kaepernick would be opting out of his San Francisco 49ers contract to become a free agent, news that broke Wednesday. On Thursday, ESPN reported that Kaepernick would stand for the national anthem in 2017.
All of these things are related, of course.

He is a poison pill for any team that signs him.
WHO CARES?
That’s not good enough. Make him sing it before each game.
The only anthem he’ll be standing for is the Canadian anthem.
He just won’t be standing as a member of the 49’s.
IMHO, damaged goods.
Will stand for food.
Too late commie
Good riddance!!! Now I can resume my decades-long stretch of being a 49ers fan. One year off since 1967 ain’t bad,is it?
Still won’t be watching the NFL due to the sorry way they handled this situation...amongst others.
Any team that buys K, gets the full package, a very dumb and not that good of a pro QB, who will po their loyal fans, who still cares about America.
That’s nice.
N Eff What?
whoa...Trump is real good.
Cuban national anthem.
Because Trump is now President? s/
For 2016, he made 11.9 million. Presently, he can trim off probably 10.9 million of that, and just be happy if some stupid team hires him for 1-million a year. My bet is that he doesn’t get signed until September, as a replacement QB, and it’s probably a one-season only contract for $750,000. Pretty stupid guy to screw your earnings capability like this.
He’s still here?
He disgraced himself, his family and his country. Don’t think he can come back from that by standing for our national anthem which he should have done in the first place.
Who is Colin Kaepernick?
Is that a real name?
