This is not that uncommon.

For sure, life is for the living. Except in the old days you just didn't hear about it that much. My great-grandmother shacked up with one of her husband's brothers after her husband died. How else can a woman support kids and a farm by herself?

My grandmother left her husband, who supposedly was meaner than a snake, for his nephew. She divorced the hubby and married the nephew who had been staying with them. Supposedly it was love at first sight.
