In December of 2012 there was footage of a “rocket launch” from the pacific off the coast of California that was obviously an aircraft con trail lit by the setting sun. The reflection off the airplane was even argued to be the flame of the rocket.
Sadly, a lot of freepers not only bought into it, but when I told them what it was, I was seriously attecked by quite a few freepers.
Meanwhile, I’ve seen a lot of those “missile launches” here in Flyover Kentucky.
I’ve not seen this video, but it is very possible the government explanation is actually correct.
Watch the video. It's not an aircraft unless it's completely engulfed in fire. I'm not saying it's a UFO, just saying that the government's response is stupid and dishonest.
I was there the following day - watching Navy choppers dropping sonobuoys into the area. Destroyers transiting in grid search patterns - because a commercial aircraft passed overhead the night before?
How do you know we’re being invaded by aliens?
It’s OBVIOUS! How else would you explain the strange lights in the sky?
Where?
Over the airport! Yeah, and those weird, truck-like noises coming from down by the highway!
Oh, I wish you all would just go, just leave my inn...
Oh, sure Dick... why don’t you just RING THE DINNER BELL???
I was a participant of several of those threads and neither you nor anyone else was able to convince me that wasn't a Chinese launched test missile...............just kidding!
You’re a retread?
Yes, I remember that well and remember being attacked when I said it wasn’t a Chinese SLBM. In my Air Force career I served for 3 years at PAVE PAWS, the premier SLBM detection radar system, but my expertise was frowned upon, as it proved I was “one of them” by a couple of posters.
Eventually, the topic just went to the back burner and then disappeared completely. I wonder how those same folks now think about their hysteria?
