"...that stranger who shows up in my mirror most mornings !"

At this Sunday dinner, I looked across the dinner table and was shocked to see my 15 year old grandson looking back at me and saw that he looked just like I did 60 years ago. It was like looking into a mirror that took me back 60 years, and before I could recover from that, I looked further down the table and saw my father looking back at me, but, of course, it wasn't my long dead father, it was my 45 year old son who now looks exactly like my father did the last time I saw him before he died in 1955. And sitting beside my son was my grand daughter who is now an exact copy of her grand mother (my wife) circa 1968.

Yes, life gets stranger and stranger on this end.

Great anecdote, and tho I don't have kids, I can still relate.

My Mom's 84 and on a couple of the very rare times I've ended up at her church with her, I've inadvertantly seriously spooked one or another of her women buddies.

As time has passed I've apparently become a visual clone of my Dad, who died in '99.
Since most all of them were at his funeral, when they saw me for the first time in many years, they about fainted, thinking he'd resurrected somehow.

It's funny in a way, but I'd have hated any of them to have keeled over from seeing a 'ghost' !
