Of course there are always exaggerations in "based on true story" movies. However, in the case of Glenn wanting to hear from the black woman to verify the calculations, I have read a number of documented articles that confirm this. As are the stories of the other two principle characters.
What is driving the Ctrl-Left in general and Holly-weird in particular totally nuts is the fact that these women worked their way up through hard work and determination, not getting a bunch of guilt-ridden lawyers to "demand" things for them.

I agree there are ‘exaggerations’. But most do not involve the stoking of racial hatred that has been a really destructive agenda item for the Left. Yes, to some ‘exaggerations’, but that bathroom sprints were really hard to accept. And I agree that the ‘Powers that be’ in Hollywood don’t want to acknowledge that these women made it on their intellect and not with Government help.
