What motivates them is power. Straight down to the least of them, it is about power. It is why they use talking points - it makes them feel in control of the conversation and they control the narrative. Even if you shut them down they believe they won - because you didn’t change their mind. It is about covering up the fact that the elected officials do nothing but act as salespeople for the liberty leaching laws and regulations being imposed on us. The elected people get rich and powerful by taking our liberty.
And it is about enabling the elected to be re-elected until they die of old age - by insisting that it takes a generation to get one GOOD change made in DC. Then their damn kid gets elected to their seat.
Yes, IF America improves it will hurt them, because it will unmask them, which will upend their power.
WE must start to turn out to these town halls no matter how inconvenient. Find some retired folks - down at the VFW or somewhere, and take them along. Get there EARLY. Bring snacks/water for the people you bring along. Bring some talking points of your own - even if it is just a long winding screed on why you have hope for America - take up the clock with wholesome words!
Hmmm. I was on-board with the Tea Party philosophy pretty early, and I don't recall ever seeing any guide on how to ask questions or any thing. I did hear information advising us how (and how not) to interact with the angry leftists who came out and wanted to make us look bad - but that's about it.
If they think that following a supposed handbook is what made us succesfull, they are going to look exactly like what they are - astroturf...

Considering what the leftist have done, if Trump makes good, making big improvements and makes America great again, they won't have any power for decades, if ever again.

All Pres. Trump has to do is have the IRS investigate a few “protestors.”
They are being paid by Soros groups and Obama groups.
That means they are EMPLOYEES!
Are full taxes being withheld?
Are FICA deductions being withheld and paid by the sponsoring Soros groups?
Are state and local taxes being withheld?
If over 50 employees, are they covered under Obamacare?
Are all the appropriate forms submitted?
...

They have not quite lost ALL power. They have plenty around the edges. Hillary knows this, it’s why she keeps putting out these little encouragements, and why obama is setting up his organizations.
Believing we have captured power is dangerous to our side.
