When the Officer broke his way into the house through a side door, and saw the Homeowner standing there with a gun, that’s when he should have tried to explain. Perhaps the police are taught to never ‘retreat’ from such a situation.

Maybe the Police Department is slow walking this case, stringing it along for a couple of years, waiting for the widow to pass away.

The police are told to “TAKE CHARGE” which often ESCALATES a situation.And too many police have earned the hatred of which they complain.

Take some cover and/or concealment and choose your shot. I practice head shots, bad guys and rogue cops wear chest body armor.
