The way I look at it, Trump and his people are very cleverly winnowing down their number. As soon as any of them come to the attention of INS, then what’s looked at? Any fraud regarding lying to a government agency or any act that is potentially a crime, including obtaining social benefits under false pretenses. My interpretation is that people who registered to vote, claiming falsely to be citizens, have committed fraud. Ditto for anyone who has fraudulently and illegally voted in any election. Thus, one woman who was deported was found to have voted illegally 5 times. How did they know that? They must have checked, looking for any fraud or potential crime she committed. Do DACA students vote? Have any registered to vote? Keep in mind, too, that some states have allowed out-of-state students to be considered in-state students so long as they live in the university’s state for a certain time, get driver’s licenses for that state, and register to vote. Can you imagine DACA illegals registering to vote to get cheaper in-state tuition? As they find illegal aliens, then the research begins. How many can say they have not committed fraud at any time on any government application?
I believe that is the approach. A flood of DACA types deported for criminal misconduct would do much to restore the credibility of US law enforcement.
