Like telling you to twist the knobs faster or slower? Push the buttons harder or more lightly?

I thought one of the droids had a female voice in the scene where Luke and Leia were born?

I thought Jill (the British English voice) was the one supposed to be giving the directions?

Hmmm, if you took a generic droid body and had female/male voice modules would it be ‘transgendered’ or would that require the addition/subtraction of actual appendages? And- if there ARE droid genders, could they ‘interface’ in public?

You can tell a female droid: every 28 days she has an oil leak.

Of course, this was before Disney tossed the entire Universe out the window to re-write it all...

There was that one. And the “waitress” in that diner Obiwan goes to visit his fry-cook buddy in Attack of the Clones.

Back in 1965 there was SF-709 on TV...I wonder if Star Trek: Voyager makes a subtle reference to her with Jerry Ryan's "Seven of Nine" Borg character?"
