Because they are sadists and love feeding live animals to them and watching the killing.

I guess Frosted Flakes aren’t so great after all. Boycott Kellogs!

Tigers - especially males - patrol very large territories in the wild. Penning them up in an enclosure is already going to deprive them of the huge amounts of exercise they'd get in the wild, and it looks like these ones have been eating baby elephants - whole.

Fat tiger, round tiger, pudgy ball of fur.
Lazy tiger, bloated tiger, grr, grr, grr.

Really sad. Reminds me of us Americans stuck sitting in front of computers at our jobs, hours on end every day...overweight.

Too sad, none of God’s creatures should suffer abuse from stupid humans.

Ok, so if they feed the tigers live animals it is cruel, but if they don't allow the tigers to hunt it is cruel.
Say what?
I agree that the zoo animals in China are not treated well but come on people!
Either you release animals into the enclosure for them to hunt or you have to feed them already dead animals. There are really no other options available.

Because they are sadists and love feeding live animals to them and watching the killing. I think tourists can buy a live lamb, young bovine or chicken and watch the tigers eat it alive with no hunting and killing skills, very sick.
These are tiger farms, tigers are bred for body parts.

The few zoos I've been to in China are incredibly small. No room to hunt or get any exercise. I've been to one where the animals were emaciated, so I guess this is better?

"If this facility is allowing live feeding, where people can buy a chicken and throw it them, it's incredibly cruel and very unethical," he said. "I don't know if it happens in this facility, but it certainly happens in some facilities in China. It's a visitor attraction. Sometimes it's not just chickens it's goats and cattle.Someone needs to remind this Draper guy that he is in China

It's a siger.
It's pretty much my favourite animal. It's like a seal and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.

This tiger wouldn’t sound like Thurl Ravenscroft.
