Scarlett Johansson is having second thoughts on monogamy.
In Playboy's March/April 2017 issue, the 32-year-old Ghost in the Shell star admitted that she isnt sure people are designed to be monogamous in relationships.
I think the idea of marriage is very romantic; its a beautiful idea, and the practice of it can be a very beautiful thing, said the actress. I dont think its natural to be a monogamous person. I might be skewered for that, but I think its work. Its a lot of work.

There is no chance that is a old cat lady.
She does know HOW to walk in high heals.........so she’s got that going for her.
She certainly is having some problems putting her coat on.
someone who depends on the magic of Hollywoods’ Gaussian filters to appear “hot” isn’t really an expert on what’s natural.
Okay, guys, the line forms to the left.
...behind me.
No surprise for anyone who has multiple partners prior to marriage!
Yes, that’s right, it’s not “natural”. It takes work, as does all things of value in life.
Yet it’s what God expects....
How is this woman a popular actress? She’s built, yes, but she has a face typically seen on a Pablo Picasso painting. I find Kate Upton to be a superior actress (um ... yeah, I sincerely do :-)).
Who determines that this woman is “popular” while others can’t get a break? I get that she’s a box office draw for some idiotic reason, but I sincerely believe that if one were to replace her with a cardboard cutout of a busty woman, you’d get the same draw and audience response for a fraction of the price.
Scarlett Johannsen, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Natalie Portman ... three frigging actresses that make me wonder what kind of other talents they have to get the jobs they get. All are horrible at their job yet are deemed a success for some reason.
Yes, I am being judgemental. I, personally, have a face perfect for radio broadcasts and need to lose a few, wait, make that several pounds. However, I am not in the business of selling my looks for cash nor am I spewing garbage in magazines to make myself look all new-age open minded and vastly superior to my fellow peons (I’m only doing that on Free Republic :-) :-P ).
Monogamy built our civilization.
Is it natural?
I do not know.
But, I do know it is divine.
Two responses.
1. From her perspective. Literally every straight man she meets wants to have sex with her. Some of them are attractive or fun or have interesting stories. If she enjoys sex, she won’t want to turn every one down.
2. From a bacterial perspective. The more bacteria you are exposed to, the more chance you will end up with some weird stuff. The more I learn the weirder it gets. Especially cancers. Promiscuity can hurt.
3. From a moral perspective. If you promise something to Gd or someone important, or BOTH as in marriage, you need to keep that promise. It is the difference between being a good person and a bad person. You can kindly break the promise as in divorce for a substantive reason. Life isn’t perfect and neither are we. Or you can do what Scarlett probably does. “Yes, we can get married, but I reserve the right to be unfaithful whenever I feel like it. I’m rich and famous and beautiful and that is the price you pay.”
She must think she has to live the role of that movie she made with Bill Murray in Japan.
Well, that’s her position. One of them, at least.
She’s put herself in a place where genuine love has no chance. Love hasn’t been her top priority.
Killing people is pretty “natural”, too. That’s why there’s a Commandment prohibiting it.
I'd like to dedicate this song to that guy: Save It For A Rainy Day, by Stephen Bishop.
I am wondering if she is speaking of herself.. or the men she has married?
Because there is a BIG difference. If she is speaking about the men she has been with in the past, she could have just jumped to a logical conclusion based on her personal experience. BUT, the fact of the matter if that is the case it’s not true universally but in reality is just a testament to her bad choice of mates.
If she on the other hand is speaking about herself... well... then any man with a brain needs to run the other way if considering getting serious with her.
