Consider it a royalty. A robot takes your job, you are paid a royalty based on the robots production. If your royalty is 25% of the production you can expect quite a windfall. After all, they claim the robots can increase production 700%.
In other words, your royalty would be 1.75 times your current income.
Just imagine over the course of a few years robots take away 3 of your positions. Look at the windfall. Woohlah!!

Charles Murray(The Bell Curve) wrote a book recently about that. Everyone gets $10k right off the bat. If they screw up(non payment of child support) it comes out of their gift.

We already have programs like this all over the US—just look at any failed city welfare state. With nothing to do and no purpose in life but to breed and eat the life forms become lower in intelligence with no desire to become better citizens of a civil society. Then there are those who actually have some intelligence and ambition, but they are soon siphoned off into anarchist groups—Islamists, communists, etc., because they see no hope of relevance. The robot-ruled society won't last long unless they exterminate the humans who will eventually rise to annihilate them and bring us all back to the 6th century. Does Elon Musk think these people will take up art and culture? History says otherwise.
