"How long will $1.25 million last after purchasing 2 homes, a Range Rover, traveling the globe, and getting cosmetic surgery?"

Well said.

I cant imagine a teenager grasping the concept of what 1.25 million is.

It wouldn't surprise me if she's close to being broke already.

I am floored somewhat of just how many "friends and long-lost family" come out from every rock and come asking for $ from lottery winners.

Then again look at all of the pro athletes who made 10s-100s of millions over their careers that are broke.

I'm sure that having your crew and posse with you and flashing your diamond rings was fun, but now what the hell do you do do when your 150K/month child support for your nine kids by five women comes due?

Don't pro teams warn/educate these guys against this kind of behavior?

Pro teams definitely advice young athletes get good financial advice.

A lot of good managers will make athletes or entertainers sign off on their spending habits before authorizing any money so the athletes and entertainers know exactly what they are doing, so they can’t complain later about having been ill advised.
