Not likely to be affected

Oroville and Yuba City looks like any mid-western town

I wouldn’t bank on Sacramento not being affected. It is already btw - 3 levies breeched on Consumes River, another has a hole in it (Tyler Island Walnut Grove) a part of Elk Grove flooded (no surprise there), Dry Creek (Elkhorn/Rio Linda) and Arcade Creeks (ARC) above flood levels.

Shasta Dam (concrete arch) is at 96% and rising, and had cut the output slightly to ease the pressure being put on the Sac River by Oroville release. Today they increased the flow rate to 70K and for the first time in over a decade opened 10 gates. Add that to Oroville’s 120+K and it’s a not good situation for those downstream already fighting the water.
