What a unique voice he had. Also married to the actress Susan Player, who was in some 70’s beach movies.

I went to see a show many years ago in Westwood and he was in the audience and they brought him up on stage for a little musical fun. What a voice. RIP, Mr. Jarreau.

I remember that show and another favorite, Max Headroom were on the same night.

Ha , ha , All the “Artists” that planned on ripping on Trump tonight will not be given time to do so. There will be a big tribute to Al J.

Great memories of my youth with AJ in the 80’s and 90’s. Used to have all his albums in vinyl and still listen to him today. RIP.

If only he’d made it another day he could have denounced Trump tonight.

I loved his music. Many of my memories from the 80s included his songs. RIP.

The Grammy freak show could stand to learn some class from him.

I wonder if these so called Artists realize that are pissing off 64 million people who will never watch them again? Gosh that is moronic.

RIP, I liked his unusual vocal tones and restrained jazz styles.
Unfortunately, I later learned about his political views (radical pro-black). I lost some respect.
My favorite:
