Trump needs to boot the United Nations and their Lucis/Lucifer Trust cult worshippers out of New York. Let them set up shop on someone else's dime.

Arkady N. Shevchenko—USSR (1973-1978)

Didn't he defect? Wasn't he the one who asked for a prostitute and the CIA gave him a Yellow Pages?

Back in the early 80s, I attended a speech by the late Arkady Shevchenko, then the highest-ranking Soviet official to defect to the West. He had been their top guy at the UN.

He spoke, interestingly, at KENNESAW COLLEGE — and we all know what Kennesaw is famous for! I’m proud to have played a small role in helping Mayor Darvin Purdy get that legislation through the Kennesaw City Council.

Shevchenko’s talk dealt with the clear intent of the leadership of the old Soviet Union (12/5/2015 UPDATE: ADD THE CURRENT LEFTIST CONTROLLED FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO THAT LIST!) to somehow take America. He mentioned their ICBMs and the nuclear blackmail threat they posed. (12/5/2015 UPDATE: MAKE THAT THE MUSLIMS!)

Then he broke from his prepared remarks and offered the audience this wisdom:

“The leaders of my country are as AFRAID OF YOUR 200 MILLION (12/5/2015 UPDATE: MAKE THAT 380 MILLION AND COUNTING!) PRIVATE FIREARMS as they are of your ICBMs. NEVER GIVE UP YOUR GUNS.”

Frankly — and, while he had to be careful as he was under FBI protection at the time, Shevchenko alluded to this in his remarks — I’m as concerned about some domestic tyrant (say, a Hillary, Nancy Pelosi, Barack HUSSEIN Obama or Chuck Schumer) as I am about some foreign enemy.

And it is THAT threat about which the Founding Fathers were concerned that prompted them to leave us the Second Amendment.

The BIG question is: WILL WE KEEP IT?

Yes, you are right. Good book, though now I don’t trust any publication on these topics in the last forty years.

However, he was a commie or he would not have been appointed, as per the thesis of this article.

A nice aside is to understand that the founder of the ACLU, Roger Baldwin said: “”I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those that produce wealth: Communism is the Goal”

Most of the liberal institutions are founded through efforts of the international communists.

As for Hiss, read Witness by Whittaker Chambers. Wm F Buckley called it the best Biography of the 20th century.

My older brother told me in the late 1950’s to not trust anything the UN said or did. He had just received a medical discharge from the USAF. I was a know it all teenager but it started making sense the older I got. I miss him. He had flown on bombers testing bombs. He had gotten so much radiation exposure that for years before he died, he was on about 20 kinds of drugs. He was my hero.

From: Phoenix Rising: The Rise and Fall of the American Republic by By Donald G. Lett

"There are many similarities between Russia and the U.N. For example, consider that most of the U.N. charter is copied word for word from Marx's Communist Manifesto and the Russian Constitution."

There are still people who think Alger Hiss was unfairly maligned.

They have never read “Witness”.

“Witness” was the most politically profound book for me.

See my Freeppage. I had posted Whittaker Chambers’ letter to his children, and his grandson emailed me and politely and nicely asked me to remove it, which I complied with.

One of the most moving books to me.

When I first read it, I thought it was primarily about politics. When I read it the second time, I realized it was about a man’s search for God.

I once was on a plane trip with a fellow that owned the old farm that Whittaker Chambers retired to with his wife and kids. He knew the history of it when he bought it and said he was never going to sell it.

The Pumpkin Papers were in that pumpkin patch.

If they don’t know about Alger Hiss, they missed it when the former USSR released his KGB files in the early/mid 1990s. Awarded the Order of Stalin or some-such cr*p for his “work” at Yalta.

I find this liberal doggedness in the belief that Alger Hiss was treated unfairly to be rooted in one of two reasons:

Either they know the truth but still refuse to see it, or they accept it, but think he was advancing the cause of communism, which is their religion.

Neither of those is a good thing.
