Carol Burnett, I can handle.

Amy Poehler, not so much.

But, the show might not be long-lasting, unless Carol can outlive old age.

She is 83 now, so, how long will the premise of the show continue, unless they extend the show to have an “unseen ghost” of Carol talking to Amy and family from the beyond.

I was forced to watch “Sisters” staring Tina Fey and Amy Pohler a couple weeks ago. Stupid movie about two immature, foul mouthed, feuding 40 something sisters living in mommy and daddy's house. I was embarrassed I watch this movie.

Amy Pohler is not funny and is only someone a millennial can look up to.

The headline is somewhat confusing. Did Carol Burnett write the comedy skits and/or is she acting in them in a show being produced by Amy?. A few verbs thrown in here and there would have cleared things up. This may be shorthand, or ‘inside information’ from Hollywood, aimed at those already aware of what both women do , and their places in the entertainment world.

Sounds like a bit of a spin off from Hot in Cleveland. That show was hysterical. The last time Poehler made me laugh was an SNL skit when she was pregnant and trying to pick up Josh Brolin at a bar. That was years ago........

Executive produced by Parks and Recreation grad Amy Poehler, the multicamera comedy follows a family who has an opportunity to buy the house of their dreams but under extremely abnormal circumstances: they must live with the previous owner, an eccentric, larger than life actress (Burnett).

It sounds like Carol Burnett's character may be a variation of the "Nora Desmond" character she played on her variety show. I've always felt that Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett were the Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig of comediennes. I have mixed feelings about this project. I hope they maintain the standard of comedy that Carol Burnett is known for, and don't rely on crude language and bathroom humor in an attempt to get cheap laughs. I would hate to see Carol Burnett end her brilliant career that way.

Get Tim Conway on and I might watch it.

(Gee, I love that kind of talk)
