One of a very few (if any) ships from MY NAVY.

As a member of US Naval Historical Foundation, I rode the ‘Big(ger) E’ in 2000 or 2001 on a dependents day cruise as we were dedicating the ‘Enterprise Room’ aboard her.

I had a ‘Bridge Pass’ and the biggest thing I found - even though she was built in the 50s/60s - that the ladders had gotten steeper and the passageways were a lot narrower than ships I had served on.

FW/FS Enterprise, you will be back.....

Love your last line. I am terribly sentimental, especially about traditional things like...naval ships.
