As the Bible tells us, love the sinner, not the sin. Many who have a family member who might be gay must do this every day of their life. A hard choice, but necessary. We can only pray for them.
I don’t have a problem with it. Why lose your job over something personal if it has no bearing whatsoever on your job performance? Unless you’re a man setting out to be a Hooters waitress, and I think that situation has already been dealt with. I don’t believe there are many federal job situations (outside of the military, but that should be competency based to begin with) where sex or sexuality make much difference anyway.
Now quotas or set asides, that’s another issue, and I know Trump wouldn’t be down with that. Just like with race, if you can do the assigned job and do it well, it should be yours, with no fear of termination due to factors unrelated to the job.
