What I read was that this stay only affects 100-200 people who have arrived at U.S. airports. The stay prevents them from being sent back to their country of origin right away. But it doesn’t free them, either. Those people are in limbo for now.

But it doesnt free them, either. Those people are in limbo for now.So what is to prevent visa holders in the banned countries from boarding a flight tomorrow? Once here, the ruling applies to them too. Not a lawyer, but I read nothing in the stay limiting it to travelers already here.
