Think your reading is essentially correct. Assuming the NYT article posted here is correct (one never knows these days), I feel less stressed about the judges action.
So the malcontents out disrupting JFK can go home and get stoned, then wake up to find their muslim buddies will not continue coming in after all.
Yeah, they don’t seem to grasp that the judge’s emergency order only affects the relatively small number of people who arrived and were detained today. As long as the situation does not snowball in coming days (i.e., as long as airlines do not foolishly fly in ineligible ppl) the problem should be quickly resolved, one way or the other.
Of course, one cannot predict what trouble liberal judges may try to make, but the POTUS seems to have clear-cut legal authority to stop immigration by particular classes or categories of aliens, it’s a very broadly defined power.
