The NASA vid said the asteroid would pass by the earth between 11,000 and 3 million miles.

So if the prediction has a variance of more than 2.9 million miles, why are they so confident of the last 11,000 miles that it won’t hit?

Honestly if such a thing were coming, it might be best to just live your life and face the music when it comes, because life afterwards is going to be brutal and short for all but a precious few. Fatalistic, I know, but also realistic.

I'm with you. If we ever have a REAL SHTF moment like an asteroid impact I'd just as soon go out with it.
