Keep in mind not much of the manufacturing sector workforce is unionized. This isn’t 1969.
That's very true. Here's how I see this playing out. If we go by the maxim of 'lifting all boats' with Trump's massive economic infusion via energy you're going to see a lot of people enter the manufacturing sector or returning from part-time work. This will create serious competition between the Mid-West and the Southern states.
Unions are going to have to contend with that. The point being that manufacturing becomes a viable economic sector to seek employment.
