Agree resolution will make it unlikely to be effective except close up.
A higher risk issue is the meta data in cell phone photos revealing where you live by GPS. There are things you can do to prevent that. I don’t share cell phone data with a number of apps in my phone. If you are not sure about it, you can look at the EXIF data from one of the photos. For most purposes you can see it using tools within GIMP, but there are better more positive was to check if that data is embedded. In linux there is a well know command line app that will view it and if you want to batch process the removal from photo’s you’ve alread made, you can do that. I suspect there is a Windows equivalent, but don’t remember using one.
