I’ve been binge-watching “Twin Peaks” in preparation for the new season on Showtime, and his turn as the FBI forensics expert without a shred of social skills was hilarious.

My wife wondered if his lack of social skills in NCIS LA the show you mentioned, might have been like him in real life.
I agree, he was awesome in TP. Sad, several of the great actors in that series are not around this time. Really gonna miss Pete Martell and Major Briggs.
Did he film scenes for the new one? I’m pretty sure at least one person (the log lady, I think) filmed scenes before they died.
