I was in Paris last in April of 2016 and we went to St. Denis (just north of Paris) a famous gothic church which is believed to be the birthplace of stained glass. It is also the mausoleum for the French kings and queens. We took the metro and aside form maybe one other traditional appearing Westerner, the train appeared to be filled with non-traditional French etc. Of course, we went during the day and maintained situational awareness, and had no problems. Good thing I wasn’t wearing my Rolex.

I am taking my grandson to Paris for two days this April. I figure I’d like to show him the city before it truly becomes a no go zone. Will only take the metro once From du norde to the Arc de Triomphe where we’ll stay.

Hoping for the best but would sure like to be able to bring my CC.

By the way how was the weather last April.

How... quaint.

Let me guess: Kimono-wearing Frenchmen? Kilt-wearing Frenchmen? Frenchmen sporting cowboy hats and Western-style boots?

Regards,
