Williams was so bad on the Five that he makes Beckel look good by comparison....and thus, Beckel is a more welcome panelist even though they are both of the same cloth.
Beckel is just as leftist as Juan, only with a different style. Williams is a robotic propagandist, well-informed, extremely quick in his thinking, a liar and a spinner....and a deliberate, calculating non-stop talker who is practiced at dominating the shows he's on.
Beckel is likewise a propagandist, well-informed, a jolly ex-drunk, quick in his thinking, a man of fewer words and one-line jabs, an easy, laid back team player...and, like Juan, a dyed-in-the wool marxist and Trump loather who, unlike Juan, employs the stiletto rather than the sledge hammer to destroy conservatives, the Republican Party and the incoming Trump administration in any way he can.
Beckel's flippant style and cool-cat demeanor is easier to take than William's....therefore....., and to my dismay, his evil ideology is acceptable, even welcomed by some on this board because it's less annoying and less blatantly Goebbels-like than that of Juan's....and he's such a "relief" after his unsufferable predecessor.
I watched Beckel's re-incarnation today. His announcements and promises of what to expect from him (particularly concerning the new administration) in the future were serious, deadly and chilling....and his cold jabs at Trump and his future intentions as a panelist seems to have been lost in the hour-long love-in on the show joyfully celebrating his return.
Beware this second-coming of Bob Beckel. Radical Juan has been replaced by radical Bob....scratch them both and you'll find exactly the same ideology underneath....only with a different packaging on the outside.
There's nothing to be ecstatic about in Fox replacing Tweedledeedee with Tweedledeedum.
