I understand why people continue to feel that government can and should provide medical care. However, the experiments have been run, both here and in other countries, and it just doesn't work. Another system that just doesn't work is government education, for many of the same reasons.

Agree. I continue to advocate for the abolishment of "government schools". Privatize the lot ... It would require a (state) constitutional amendment in most States. This would be a very hard sell.
