Yes, I didn't understand the spike of the ball on first down either. Gave away a down for no good reason. There were about 45 seconds left and Dallas also had a timeout. They could have run another play quickly without using too much time.

Another key play was the blindside sack of Rodgers late in the fourth quarter, yet he managed to hold onto the ball. If he fumbles, Dallas likely recovers and scores.
