Absolutely! She's my favorite female singer. This is my favorite Vera Lynn song:

Met her once in to 60s'.

Working in a bank where she was a customer.

Manager offered her coffee in his office whilst a cashier attended to her needs.

She declined and elected to wait in line with the other customers.

Beautiful lady.

I do not remember her but her career and contributions to us all go beyond her 100 years. The WWII “Greatest Generation” are dying off and Vera lets us celebrate them today!
