My sense is that this is a strategic move on their part and not one born of financial necessity.
I would first suspect that Hillary has been told there is no Obama pardon coming her way.
Next, I’d say that the closure gives the excuse to destroy anything faintly resembling a record....which would be necessary given no pardon.
That should also be factored into the continuing attacks on Trump over the Russia nonsense.
Why would Obama not pardon her?
1. He never liked her, and she blew an election with her technology transgressions. IOW, he’s also PO’d at her.
2. She doesn’t have anything on him to hurt him.
3. She doesn’t have anything to bribe him with that he is interested in or can’t get on his own.
4. There are no provable connections between him and anything nefarious she has done.
Agreed. If bronco pardons, it wrecks his legacy, and totally tarnishes the teflon dems. And as we all know, they are in it for themselves.
She was one of the first to question his eligibility. She may have the goods on his birth and real parents. She may catch flak for bringing it out at this late date but she is still the Teflon Queen. Hand it to McLame so she's not involved.
