I need a pop-up blocker, or is it the nature of things these days ?
Ghostery does not work with Pale Moon (a version of Fire Fox)
Run Malwarebyts to clear out your malware and then install Adblocker in your browser.
Adblocker does a great job and makes Breitbart a normal site without all the ad drama.
I won’t click on links to Breitbart anymore for just that reason.
Good for you. You can be one of their dozen readers.
I hate the video that pops up at the bottom of the screen. If I wanted to listen I would but I read much faster than people talk (usually). Grrrr. Click, off.
Thanks. Just installed AdBlockPlus.
[I cant even read Breitbart without it crashing my browser.]
I just downloaded AdBlockPlus and tested it out on the sites I frequent that are laden with pop-ups. No more pop-ups and my computer runs more smoothly.
YUUUUUUUUUP!
He probably should have put it in his vanity and not in his comment #1, but he did say "many links from FR reports send me to sites that take forever to load because of ads and pop-ups on the page."
End the madness.
1. Install Malwarebytes
https://www.malwarebytes.com//
2. Install a new browser, Brave, which presents information only and no ads.

3. Use HideMyAss Anonymizer

I use Pale Moon browser, which is a mozilla (firefox) - based browser. Their add-ons page, under ‘Privacy & Security’ lists ‘Adblock Latitude’, which is extremely effective.
Thanks. Found it, read about it, saved it, tried to open/install and Win-7 doesn’t know how to handle it. Drat.
Not exactly rocket science.
