Next time, keep your attack dogs on a fixed leash that won’t fail.
Walking two mature Pit Bulls at once is a lot of dog for any person. Still, the public expects the dog owner to have control of their pet while in public. This owner did not, for whatever reason. The father of the two kids did just the right thing. You don’t stand there and just watch as your children get their faces torn, their nerves permanently rattled, because someone was too stupid, too thoughtless or too physically weak to keep their Pit Bulls in line.
What do you call two pit bulls shot dead in the park?

I once ‘dog sat’ two Afghan hounds and I would never walk both in the same outing. I could barely handle one of them on a leash let alone two!

An unleashed black labrador retreiver attacked my leashed American bulldog while we were walking in the street. Only a couple puncture wounds but it was going for his throat.
I told the owner I would shoot it if it came near us again. Anyone who shoots my dog had better shoot me too.
