You're OK, you're OK," Lola Webber, a campaign manager with the Humane Society International (HSI), whispers to a lab-mix puppy, cradling her in a jacket as dozens of dogs bark in nearby cages.
The puppy is moved from a rusty cage on a dog-meat farm in South Korea to a plastic crate, given the name Demi, and placed in a truck where she begins the long journey to a shelter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to be put up for adoption.

Did you feel like you should decide for other Americans where they can adopt a dog? Hillary been on your TV too much lately?
I have dogs from shelters in several parts of the country and one from the streets of Taiwan.
It's MY MONEY and MY Choice.
I thought conservatives loved freedom.

You think this kind of treatment of animals is ok, no matter where it happens?
boiled alive
People who are ok with extreme cruel to animals are often quite a bit up the scale on sociopathy.

No they are not. They close the farms down, remove all the cages. And set the farmers up in a new industry, such as blueberries.
Much like a woman in England has done with bear bile farms.

Good. It seems so wrong to me to do this to mans best friend! I am not a vegetarian, but feel strongly that dogs are special creatures.””
Agree. I like the South Korean people but this practice of eating dogs sickens me. No finer friend was ever had than a good dog. Lock your spouse and dog in the car trunk, come back two hours later and see which one greets you with love.

New people don’t step in to supply the ‘dogs for food’ market? I would like to believe that’s possible...

I agree that people shouldn’t torture that which they kill to eat. However, I am for reasonable freedom of choosing what you want to eat. There are reasonable limits agreed upon by most.

Why? Aren't you for freedom of choice in what you eat? My suggestion: rethink your post.

Your logic could then lead to the cannibalism of infants.

Didn’t I say reasonable people would agree on some limits? You are blinded by your fervor for dogs. I do not wish to further comment.
