DO NOT go down the road that is a hate crime or cheer it on a as a real hate crime.
Trump should make an example, using these people, and encourage, publicly, NO prosecution of any hate crime legislation, but thrash these scum with the harshest constitutional laws that proscribe force, fraud and coercion.
Me too. Every crime is really a hate crime. It is nonsensical to create a separate "hate crime" category.
But I can see why it was originally done. It gives Big Government just another weapon to use against whites.
I notice that the poor victim is referred to as a “man” yet he is the same age, 18, as three of his four tormenters, who are referred to as “teenagers”. Now why is that ?
Actually I heard that the hate crime is a double hit, first for black on white and then for an individual against a disabled person. See you guys next century.

The same reason the official narrative coming out is they were friends, they were play fighting, it got physical and out of hand. The media is already downplaying it on purpose to make the assailants look less guilty.
The worst aspect of it isn’t the abuse. It is the fact that they live streamed it, proud of what they were doing and fully expecting kudos and approval from their friends. Thousands watched the video and laughed about it online. Their friends AGREE WITH THE ACTIONS! That is the news story, that we are approaching a critical mass of a whole community that supports lynching and pogroms of whites.
The police chief in the city called it a prank. If someone had been tortured like this by whites, he’d have called it heinous. And if it had been a group of whites proudly abusing a black person, he’d be collectively assigning blame on all whites.
This is a result of the EVIL double standard liberals have created.
One side of it is that whites are a “micro-aggression” for merely existing in the same space as blacks, to be punished for supposed privilege on the basis of their skin color ... liberals have assigned all whites to a new underclass akin to the untouchables in India, that there mere presence is an affront to the higher status groups.
It affects morality such that the white is presumed guilty or wrong unless some other higher precept is involved, such as a white lecturing a black on the morality of homosexuality. This comes out in the “whites can’t talk about X, and opposing it is racism (sin).” You see the same thing as “men can’t say X”.
The racist, sexist demonization and degradation is now systemic. White men are actively discriminated against in hiring by any group receiving federal contracts per federal policy, unless they are in any protected class like homosexual or war veteran. TV and movies never show a white man who is all of the above: smart, handsome, competent, married, moral. He may be all of the above but the bad guy (lots of white guys still in those roles). He may be kind and good but bumbling or stupid. And you can get black and hispanic married fathers who meet all those criteria, but not a white man. He has to be taken down a notch, seriously defective in some way, and always to be corrected or shown up by the woman in the family if he’s present at all.
In the utter reversal of reason, the “UN-privilidged” have defined negative terms to exclude themselves. Blacks and other non-whites are exempt from the definition of racism and hate crimes, even when they target someone based on their race, torture them for hours while screaming racial insults. The liberals have literally made this group holier than thou, like Muslims beating or killing the infidel for the accusation of criticizing Islam, for failing to be Muslim or groveling low enough to the Muslim. And unlike Islam, whites and men don’t have the option of converting to Islam to gain equality, just renounce their privilege, self-flagellate hard enough, and you’ll get to be the tolerated token dhimmi and the leader of your lower caste.
Potok won’t even mention it since it doesn’t fit his racist narrative.
The Klan is more dangerous than ISIS to them.
