My problem with the known dangerous breeds is not what they MIGHT do but what they can POSSIBLY DO, if triggered. Here we have a beloved family pet mauling the family over a common silly prank.
“Shouldn’t have put on that outfit!” Really? But they’re so sweet and harmless, just like other dogs. There is often a forked tongue defense of dangerous dogs, touting their sweetness and light one minute and relishing their destructive potential the next.
